Cardboard egg boxs.

The broken and cut pieces of egg boxes are glued back together to form a tribute to the egg producing part of a woman’s life that is left behind at the onset of the menopause. Egg boxes carry and protect eggs as do women’s bodies. The wreath-like sculpture mourns the passing of the eggs as well as the children who have been born, or maybe never been born, or who have, at this stage of a woman’s life, recently left home.
